Nifty Condition Markers

My buddy John had a great idea for DIY condition markers: use those plastic rings from milk jug caps. Simple. Brilliant. Need different colors? Buy different kinds of milk!

  1. I like ANY good marking idea, & these are flexible enough to work even if the piece in question is flanked on all sides. As a habitual warlock player, I mostly make do with aquarium pebbles-- that way I remember to scoop them up when the NPC in question dies.

  2. I use rings from 20 oz pop bottles. There are a lot more color options available for color-coding fun (Coke Zero-black, Diet Coke-silver, Pepsi-blue, Mtn Dew-Green, etc).

  3. Mike, excellent idea! We certainly drink a lot more soda than milk at our gaming sessions. Ha. I wonder if there is some use for beer caps?
